Chris joined Joint Replacement Specialists in January 2009 as a Physician Assistant. He graduated Cum Laude from the Physician Assistant Training Program at Ohio's Kettering College of Medicine in 1996, and then completed Fellowships in Emergency Medicine in Xenia, Ohio, and Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Battle Creek, Michigan. Chris brings over 12 years of experience as a physician assistant, including over 5 years in orthopaedics. He assists Dr. Peak in surgery, hospital rounds, and sees his own schedule of patients in the office. Chris and his family are very involved in motocross, and he frequently provides orthopaedic care to participants.
Mike established the Physical Therapy department at Joint Replacement Specialists in May 2008. Mike received his undergraduate degree from UNC-Charlotte and his Masters of Physical Therapy from Western Carolina University. He comes to us with 10 years experience and a broad background in physical therapy. He is a native North Carolinian, and he and his family have lived in the Hickory region since 2000.
